Family Council Assembly provides an open forum for information sharing and idea exchange between families/friends and the Glen Haven Manor team.
The assembly is held bi-annually and all family members are encouraged and welcome to attend.
Family Council is a group of family and friends of residents working together to provide support, share experiences and seeking to create a better environment for our residents.
The purpose of Family Council is to ensure that as partners in care the information necessary to achieve exceptional individualized quality care and decision making is identified and made available.
The objectives of these meetings are:
To support the Vision Mission and Strategic Directions.
To encourage family and friends to participate in Family Council.
To identify information needs and organize information sessions accordingly.
To share information on internal and external services and resources.
To assist family and friends in understanding how as partners we contribute to exceptional individualized quality care.
